Looking back, I've lived a good life...

 

Life is a road, full of bends, twists, and turns

The road is tough, but one day I’ll break free

It’s been a whole year, still feels like a day

Reminiscences full of you and me

 

Dreams of the past, back when we were still young

These old dreams, which now face reality

Still, love has no borders, no traffic lights

And I hope we’ll meet again, filled with glee

 

But life doesn’t wait; it goes on and on

Tonight, the moon again shines on that tree

It gently shines, a shade of brilliant white

My friend, will we ever be truly free?

 

While I stare at the moon, my heart tells me

You’ll see the moon, too, miles across the sea
