A Fire in the Cold
It's Freezing Outside

 

The sharp icy wind pierces through my veins
Trees a shade of ghost white on snowy plains
Surrounded by fog, my heart beats, closely
Forever alone, yet never lonely

I move cautiously in this lifeless place
In the distance, I see an unknown face
From this lifeless place, my broken heart calls
Separated by invisible walls

One step at a time, my footsteps after
We chat, fill the atmosphere with laughter
Walk with each other, no longer afraid
We share a fire, a light under shade

Our mutual understanding and love
Surpasses all boundaries, like a dove
